One of these things is not like the others...

At least it's Mizzou over Texas Tech, though.

This has to be complete bullshite, but...

SEC West
OU
A&M
OSU
Mizzou
LSU
Arkansas
Ole Miss
Mississippi St.

SEC East
Bama
Auburn
UF
Georgia
Kentucky
Vandy
S. Car
Tenn

ETA: play the 7 in your division plus 1 from the other division on a rotating basis. Protected games would no longer be necessary with Bama/Tenn and Auburn/UGA in the same division.

sounds good to me

Agreed on both counts.

I could see A&M and OU being invited, but bringing Okie State and Mizzou with them is pushing it on the believability scale considering how much that would disrupt East-West rivalries in the conference and how remarkably unstable previous conferences over 12 members have been.

An annual slate of Ole Miss, Moo State, A&M, OU, Okie State, Arky, and Mizzou would be interesting, though, as we've got an existing rivalry with the Aggies and the basis for a rivalry with OU and Okie State.

I hate the idea of Mizzou coming to the SEC.

I'm not a big fan of them or either Oklahoma school joining. I was hoping we would pick up Aggie and someone like UNC or VaTech, and go to a 9 game conference schedule.

10-3-09 L 19-47
12-28-09 L 20-44
10-9-10 L 17-24
1-7-11 L 24-41
SEC would not be pretty for us.

** Somebody knows whats up over there.**

OU ain't going anywhere without OSU, and vice versa. Let's just destroy one of the best rivalries in college football. Good call.

Mizzou is a good school...strong in hoops...decent in football...owns the St. Louis market.

Not a fan of adding 4 teams to the SEC. To me, 12 is a great number and 14 is the max I would want to see.

I think 16 is what it will end up being...and getting these teams would be huge...would give the SEC the Houston, Dallas, all of Oklahoma and Missouri markets.
