A transcendent documentary.

I went to my buddy's house one night, and he said "Do you have 20 minutes that will turn into an hour and 20 minutes?" I was hooked from the first 30 seconds.

I spread this gospel whenever I can.

I'd love to get a hold of the original PBS documentary Dancing Outlaw. It's 90% focused on Jesco and he comes up with some amazing, drug induced monologues. It's much less dark that WWW is too.

It's on torrent sites. I tried to buy it once, but it was way too expensive.

Good documentary, those people are nuts.

I liked the one women that said something along the lines of "I'm the hottest off all the White women" haha

I watched this last night after coming across the mention of it on this site.

I was intrigued, reviled, disgusted, amused, but most of all i was sad that anyone born into that family doesn't have a fighting chance at any kind of productive life.

Watched this last night. Wow. "Ma'am we don't have fajitas."

"You don't have fiestas?"

But wow, there was some seriously depressing stuff in this documentary, but it was a train wreck I couldn't turn away from.

Just watched. Funny and sad at the same time, but there's some classic stuff in there.

The power of TD is strong. I, apparently like several other of yall, just watched it last night after reading this thread. Can't tell if it's hilarious or sad as hell. My favorite line is the mom's at the end.

"How do you want people to react at your funeral?"

"I want 'em to party their balls off. I hope they blow pot in my face and snort pills off my head."

If you haven't seen the DVD extras you're missing out on half of the good stuff. I especially love the extras with Les (Les is More, Les on the Lam) and "The Awesomeness that is Derkie". Call the law! Boo, boo, Judy! And if anyone can tell me who "Judy" is please post it. Les says it and then Jesco says, "Lock it down, Judy" after dancing on the table with Hank III singing/playing. Dancing Outlaw I and II are out on dem0n0!d. Worth watching once but not nearly as good as WWWWV. I own that DVD. Only $11.49 at Amazon too.
