Scott Fujita shouldn't have been let go.

Yes he should have

While true, he wasn't worth the price tag that the Browns paid for him. You can't only look at talent when evaluating a talent (hell then none of the Bush bashers would have anything to talk about) price matters also

We had a better overall D. He wasn't responsible for all those turnovers last year

He's been on IR. I don't think he would have helped much.

Saints weren't going to overpay...although he could have helped. Lbers were pretty bad couldn't have been worse with him in there. I also believe he had a lot to do with the Browns beating Saints. He knew what was coming and had a phenominal game.

its about cash homey... he is older and wanted more money than we wanted to pay to a C+ aging linebacker

he was a great leader and played well within the system but lets not start thinking that he was the difference in a repeat vs a 1st round loss

I love when people complain when the Saints don't want to overpay for players. Kind of easy when your sitting at home drinking beer and eating pork skins. Sometimes it's best to use a little intelligence.

you can't make a statement like this without explaining how you plan to pay for it. Which you probably can't do even with the benefit of hindsight

signed a 3 yr deal for $14mil + incentives. 32 next year. Great guy but the Saints had no capability for paying that much above market value for no upside potential.

Preemptive strike- expect the most turnover this year since '06. Capanomics will dictate it.

The no surprise possible cap casualty list
Gay
Shockey
Goodwin
Sharper
Devery
PT
Reggie
Betts

Kyle
Heath Evans
Kawika Mitchell
Prioleau
Clark
Giordano
Wilkerson
Hargrove

many could return if they accept the teams terms to new deals or renegotiated ones

Terrible generic opinion. Were there any real conflicts on the team that the public was aware of? Did it ever seem like there was a time when you thought we could use a veteran guy in the locker room?

Fujita's locker room presence and leadership would not have kept our 7 RBS healthy and it neither would have tackled Marshawn Lynch. We lost an OLB that surely would have started and been one of our better defensive players. Get the locker room bullshite out of here
