I'm not convinced Thomas is as good a QB as everyone has said he is. Honestly, I think he's more like JJ than anyone else. The NC game was just sloppy. I feel like we'll have a better QB, whether it is JJ, JL, or Berger. Hopefully it's Berger though.

I hope we can get to the SECCG. If we win that, after our schedule, we're in position, a la '07, to head to the MNC game even with one or two losses, depending on other schools. If they don't rank us as toughest schedule next year, I'll be amazed by whomever they do pick.

"Schedule says no."

The schedule will put us there!

schedule says another 10-2 would be pretty good. 11-1 would be great.

I would put money on 10-2 right now, but LSU may still end up with their all time great D-line for the 2011 class and if that happens, then 14-0 is real because with those guys added to the returning guys, no one could score on them. Right now, 9-3 is way more likely than winning the national championship.

Still, its possible and its nice to get some early pub to that effect.
It may help with recruiting. bandwagon effect in propaganda.

I have been saying all year, despite the OOC schedule that 2011 is LSU's year to win it all. Anything less will be disappointing.

Nice compliment from Belotti but, I believe his prediction is a year early. 2012 Tigers have a better shot @ MNC

If it comes down to picking a 1-loss team to get into the BCS game, we have the right kind of schedule to be that team.

Hopefully Les can reverse the 2 loss curse.

How about being happy just getting over the ar-kansas curse, then making it to the sec title game. I would be good with that. If Miles can do that I would be happy with him.

If Les would have left, Belotti would have been a good pick for LSU.

Do you think he's trying to pump up the Ducks for this one? I know they will be anyway, but I'm asking if you think that's why he made such a statement.

Yeah, he just wanted to give the Ducks something to stew over for eight months..,bulletin board material as early as possible.

There's no reason to be scared of your schedule. That's just weak and I hate when people do that. If you look at the Alabama and Auburn schedules the last 2 years, I'm pretty sure a lot of people would say "The schedule said no". But those teams did indeed go undefeated and win an MNC.

The kid hesitates, forces a lot of passes, and doesn't have the size to take a big hit. Especially not from any of our defensive players. Speed kills, that's true, but all you need is one good hit and he's out on the sidelines watching the game and picking his nose. He's the same JJ has been 95% of the time; indecisive and unable to make plays to keep drives alive. I'm looking forward to Mathieu picking him off a couple of times.
