We have been in the 90s. We know your pain. Good luck in finding the right coach.

really think we are all at that point right now. The defense was god awful, and from what I've heard Brandon gave him the chance to change the defensive staff and he wouldn't, which is what did him in, but who knows.

I've enjoyed having all the Michigan fans on here. Definitely more insiteful than the buckeye fans!

stick around. The more sports board needs some good Michigan fans to counter all the Buckeyes there.

Feel free to stick around on the MSB and OT (actually don't go to the OT. Would be a big mistake. Once you go, you can never go back. ).

Great post, um2007.

P.S. Brady Hoke has far more upside. Miles was the safe hire but I think Brady Hoke may turn out really well for y'all.

And hopefully, Alleva will get a home and home scheduled between LSU and Michigan. I think it would be great for both schools.

Best of luck to you and Michigan, that is until we meet on the gridiron. :)

I think RR should have been given another year, fwiw.

This. Had the offense going in the right direction for sure. His QB put up gaudy Heisman-esque numbers. Needs a good DC and I think he would have been fine.

Good luck LSU.

As a Michigan fan, I'm depressed. We are screwed. But you guys have been more than welcoming to us while we were potentially poaching away your coach.

Time for Hoke I guess....oh man.

Thanks for dropping by um2007 and don't be a stranger. We're all pulling for Michigan to find a great coach and we all have to be patient and supportive of him once he is in place.

I too believe that Les would have taken the UM job had circumstances been different, primarily his age and the current state of the two programs. If he were ten years younger I believe he would have rolled up his sleeves and "let her rip".

Geaux Tigers and Geaux Blue.

Are you kidding me? With the "talent" a name like Hoke will draw, I would think playing Michigan School for the Deaf sounds more plausible.

You guys don't realize how disappointed we were when UCLA upset USC in 2006. LSU vs. Michigan in the Rose Bowl (we had Jamarcus Russell, Dwayne Bowe, Laron Landry) would have been epic. I already had made plans to be there.

I have been lurking on this board for the past few days. I would like to thank you for your hospitality. You guys truly are a class act.

I cannot help but feel that UM is doomed for the next few years. I think that it would take somone of at least Les's caliber to turn things around. I do believe that he was the strongest candidate for the job.

As for Brady Hoke. IMO, I dont think he has the resume for the head job at UM considering the huge uphill climb that that job is going to be. But then again from what I understand he really wants the job. Its his dream job and there is alot to be said for that.

Good luck in the future LSU, you guys look like you are set for some great seasons. Look at us as how not to be.

Aged (and other Wolverines), I posted this in the other thread, but it got pushed to the bottom quickly so don't know if you saw. I know you were complaining about the Buckeye fans likely being complete homers and saying how great TP is. Read this whole thread just to get a sense. Like I said, I read some other Buckeye boards, I know their opinions, but it's different here. We're very supportive, but reasonable. You shouldn't let us deter you from sticking around.
