I would take into account OOC regular season games as well. Then it would fudge those rankings up I would assume.

I dont think the Big 10 is worse after today, I just think they have been overrated for the last 5 years...

Umm... SEC beat a bunch of Big Ten teams today after getting killed by ACC/CUSA teams yesterday.

All it says is the Big Ten is overrated as was expected.

SEC only 3-3 so far with losses to UCF, NC and FSU.
But we have a shot at finishing 7-3 which would be very strong IMO.

Boy, did you ever say a mouthful there. They have been overrated for about a decade.

I'm not confident that it will happen (Ark. defeating OSU), but if it does, that will mean all but IOWA lost, that I'm aware of.

Wow!

What's worse, is not just that Penn State, Mich., & Mich. St. lost but they got creamed by SEC teams.

Should end the argument forever about who's better, SEC or Big 10, but you know it won't.

sec lost in games where they had no business being. tenn deserved a bowl bid like i deserve the heisman. but, hey, that's how things go. today's games say alot more about the conferences, and the SEC did well today. state looked amazing.

Big drop from 1 to 2 for a conference that is 3-3 overall? One of those losses coming to a mediocre ACC team, and the other to a CUSA team. SEC may be the best, but there isn't a big drop. Only conclusion I have made thus far is that the Big 10 was weak, from top to bottom.

oh wow our 9th and 10th place teams lost their bowl games

south carolina got destroyed in their last 2 SEC games...with 10 teams going bowling you're not gonna win them all...SEC cemented the toughest conference in the nation once again today and will continue to do so the rest of the bowl season

They are 12-17 against the SEC over 10 years... not great but not as horrible as some are trying to make it seem

You're kidding right?!!? None of the losses yesterday were anything close to blowouts, therefore the SEC was not "killed" yesterday, by any means. The 3 teams that lost were at or below mid tier in our conference and yet each of them nearly won their games.

Illinois beat Baylor.

The PSU game was not even close to a "creaming" (not that it really makes the day much better, just saying).

The West is 2-0 and 2 huge blowouts. If we win out we will have beaten 3 big ten, 1 big 12, and 1 pac ten team. I am through sticking up for the conference i am reppin' the west division.

The Big-10 blows (2-5 in bowls). The Big-12 doesn't have much to hang their hat on (currently 2-4 in bowls with 2 losses to the Big-10). And the Pac-10 is only 1-1 as they only have 4 bowl eligible teams. The ACC is lacking teams at the top, but they may be the second best conference. They are 4-3 in bowls with 2 wins over the SEC.

Youve gotta take into account the major shift of teams coming up in the next couple of years. While I think that the SEC will stay at the top of the list, ACC might move up over big 12 IMO

Very possible, especially with Nebraska leaving the Big 12 and with Maryland trying to dig themselves out of mediocrity with a big-name hire.
