How much would you give? Someone tried to sell this to me for $250 and it was signed in 2000. Told her not worth it plus I knew some Billy Cannon stuff that didnt even go for that much.

was a replica ball from the SEC championship

You were right to pass on that offer. I'd say that ball is in the $40-$50 range.
And while you could make the argument that Cannon is the greatest player in LSU history, his autograph is not the most valuable, because there are so many of them out there.

was not even thinking that. told her to keep it and give to her kids & tell them the story behind it. they are young and may appreciate it some day.

Stuff like that really isn't worth a whole lot. It's much higher of a sentimental value than of a dollar value. But being I loved watching Mauck I would pay a lot.

Billy might counterfeit his own signed footballs

I paid $110 for a ball signed by Mauck, Saban, and several other players from the NC team. The ball had all the games for LSU that year with the opponent and score.

worth the price of the ball plus about $10

I've got Matt and his wife Jill's autographs on an LSU Alumni Paypal receipt. How much would you pay for that?

Matt's a pediatric dentist in Denver. Bring your kid in for a checkup, then sell the baby teeth when they fall out!

I know; when I saw him in May, he said he was about done with school. I wonder if he'd give me an adult discount?
NAH!!!
