Think he would find a place on staff for his old buddy Bradley Dale?

I think that if Harbaugh passes on Michigan, then Miles to Michigan is a no-brainer.

Say what you want about Miles, but he has done well at LSU. We could have easily gone into the crapper after Saban left...but we didn't. The process may stink at times, but his record speaks for itself.

If Michigan gets Harbaugh, I'm fine. If Michigan gets Miles I'm fine. If LSU gets Harbaugh, I'm finer.

Agreed. Harbaugh could definitely pass on Michigan; he runs a pro-style offense that Michigan no longer has the personnel for, so it could become another long-term project to turn them around.

Harbaugh might be a "Michigan man", but he still grew up in California and seems comfortable there. I'm guessing he stays at Stanford for a while or waits until the 49ers job opens up.

So You're saying if Harbaugh doesnt go to Michigan, then its Miles?

I want some of what you are smoking.

If Harbaugh passes on Michigan and they do indeed get Miles. Feel free to ban me for 1 month. I would deserve it, since I would be too short sighted to imagine such a thing would happen.

Although you can ban me whenever you like since you got the "Power"

The rest of the decent wins on his schedule were against mediocre teams like Notre Dame, USC & Arz. None of those teams finished in the top 25.

Oregon 52
Stanford 31

And they do play in a league that failed to have enough bowl eligible teams to fill their tie-ins. Granted part of that has to do with Oregon being in the title game, and USC's bowl ban.

Harbaugh has nothing to work with. He built that program. Plus he is much younger than Les.

The old addage "scraping the bottom of the barrel" comes to mind.

Come on, you are kidding, right? You guys have to be fricking with us? His resume is pretty hard to pass up these past couple of years, i'll admit that

If they hired Mallory, they would be wishing they had RR back, and they would be OSU's whipping boy for the forseeable future.

If he is even considered as a prime candidate, i might as well throw my name in the hat for that job.

I'd hire you over him. It was inexcusable what those two did to that defense in one year's time.

I still can't get over that Mallory line. Please come back and tell me where you are hearing that. Someone in the administration is high on him? Maybe there is somebody out there with a name similar to Mallory and you just got them confused.

I think Mallory has a sex tape with somebody in that administration.

Great opinion but you interested in backing that up?

Until Harbaugh coaches in the SEC and can match Les I'll have to reserve my vote

Likewise, the fanbase here is clueless if it is not Harbaugh. Two others do come to mind though: Mike Trgovac (current DC for the MINN Vikings, former UM middle guard under BO) and a guy LSU knows, Doug Mallory, current DC at New Mexico, former DB under Bo.

I would hope for Michigan's sake, this is not the case. Michigan should lure much bigger names than those.

No he's not. Stanford has been there before and they have had a history of having good teams. Stanford does not equal the challenge of a Vanderbilt, Tulane or Baylor from a coaching or program perspective. Bill Walsh had good teams there, Dennis Green coached them to 8-3 in his last season and Tyron Willingham took them to the Rose Bowl.
