I wonder if JJ27 thinks he's D1 material now?

No excuses to be made - still had a solid season even with all of the time he missed due to injuries. Let's hope the red shirt next year at LSU will do him some good.

I think it's safe to safe, again, that Evangel Christian Academy is the best team in Louisiana.

Then again, the sky is blue...

Acadiana is a very talented team with great coaching. TLots of teams would would have folded after the kick return for a TD. Turner was hurt and so was Cain but that's part of football, not an excuse. You could tell they were both a step or two slower than usual. Also, WM's best receiver got kicked off the team last night. I admire the coaches for doing the right thing on the eve of the biggest game of the year. Congrats to Acadiana. They deserved it. It's nice to have a nemisis again.

Sure, if that makes you feel better. Here's another one. Acadiana was better than WM tonight. But if they hadn't been, WM would have won.

There were 3 kicked off but the most significant was the WR. Really hurt us in this game.

I won't name names or say what they did, but they won't do it any more as West Monroe Rebels.

I think Acadiana was. Remember, Evangel did lose to St. Thomas More. Also they were playing a Curtis team that lost to Salmen. I realize Acadiana not only lost but lost big to St. Thomas More the first time they played them but got payback big time in a totally dominant performance and at the end of the season that was one heck of a football team. We'll never know but I don't think Evangel would pounded teams like East St. John and St. Thomas More the way Acadiana did during its playoff run.

I also think West Monroe was fortunate the score was as close as it was last night. Basically they had a kickoff return for a TD and one 37 yard play just before halftime for their two scores and that was it. Not a single real scoring drive where they put a few plays together and got into the end zone.

I saw 1A, 2A 4A and 5A so that's who I'll rank. I can't speak for Park View and Patterson.

1. Acadiana
2. WM
3. Franklington
4. Evangel
5. Karr
6. JC
7. Fighting Hamburgers (hurts my feeling to place White Castle here. any other day it would have been OCS.
8. OCS

From what I heard about the 4A game I would guess both teams would rank behind JC and in front of OCS and The Hamburgers.

your ranking is crazy...there is no way evangel is fourth in this. they can easily be 1st or at least 2nd but no way fourth. Look at their stats against JC...they shut curis down.

And I thought I was being generous ranking them ahead of Karr. Acadiana and WM would beat them badly. With lack of athletes I saw they want no part of Franklington. I mean come on. JC stats? JC struggled with Riverside. Evangel druggies with St.Charles. Neither one of teams are anywhere close to where they were 5 years ago. They are looking more and more 2A every year.
