I don't like it, and I don't like when someone refers to LSU, my Fighting Tigers, or Tiger fans as "corndogs" because the two don't have ANYTHING in common whatsover. It absolutely makes no sense at all. It is a Big 10 and Big 12 thing, not SEC.
A couple of years ago, an Auburn Einstein decided to cut and paste "LSU" into a derogatory thread between Big 12 teams using "corndog."
Apparently, 'corndog' was a term used to refer to Nebraska fans; although supposedly, it could have meant Iowa also.
THAT is corndog country. Not here.
An LSU tailgate would ban such cheap mush.
We have:
Trout Meuniere, Redfish Couvillion, Shrimp Creole, Stuffed Crab, Blackened Catfish, Seafood Gumbo, Jambalaya, Stuffed Bell Peppers, Capped Mushrooms, BBQ Brisket, Smoked Turkey Breast, Cajun Pork Loin, Shrimp Remoulade, Crawfish Etouffee, Oyster Loaf, Shrimp Po-Boys, Bread Pudding with Rum Sauce, Seafood Pasta, Garlic Bread, Cochon de Lait, BBQ Shrimp, Grilled Trout topped with Lemon Butter Sauce and Lump Crab Meat, Jumbo Gulf Shrimp wrapped in Bacon, Char-grilled Oysters, Chocolate-Cherry Cheesecake.
Oh, and a Diet Coke.
But no corndogs. Auburn fans eat those for Sunday dinner.
