Europe is hitting big shot after big shot and the US is just crapping their pants.

As everyone was was standing behind the green there, Westwood was standing with the US team(by Tiger) instead of the European team. Thought that was interesting.

We need 7 1/2 out of 12 tomorrow to win. That means points in at least 8 out of the 12 matches. Not impossible, but certainly an uphill climb.

12 years ago that might be possible. Tomorrow, I don't think so. The Euros are too deep.

Europe is sending out the big guns first, so Stricker, Cink, and Furyk are going to need to weather the storm and get some points to give the US a chance. If they can get through the first 5 matches with 3 points, then I think they can get the other 4 1/2 they need from the remaining 7 matches.

The singles matches will air on USA Network from 4 AM ET to the conclusion of the Ryder Cup. (1:53 PM ET at latest; any matches still on the course after that will be declared halved)

Just in case anyone's confused about points and how to tell if we'll win....we have to win 3 more matches than we lose tomorrow. That's it. Ties don't matter. If we win 3 more matches than them, we win. If it ever becomes impossible for us to win 3 more matches than they win, then they will have clenched.
