Back to 166.3 which is about 3 from my low.I thought about a bike ride (for about 3 seconds)

Too damn cold. I don't have any decent cold weather gear.

Hopefully it warms up soon. I've got top get back to the bike for any chance of winning the office competition.

correct. and if you're sore; that means you've torn up your muscles..and they're retaining water as they heal. more muscle is a good thing, but don't expect a super hard workout to be followed immediately by a loss on the scales.

remember, the weight on the scale is only one small part of the overall picture here...its just the easiest one for us to see but whether its up or down a couple of pounds doesn't tell you the whole story.

I know

I return with my head hung low; I cheated. One cheatless month goal is FAILED!

Oh well, just as always, back in the saddle. Per my workout routine, yesterday and today I didn't work out. Tomorrow is a legs day. Gonna hit it hard. I have a hard time working my legs out hard enough to get them sore.. I will leave the gym with my legs wobbly and giving out from muscle fatigue, but they won't get sore. Any idea why?

Just can't seem to get motivated to lose more. Even the office competition isn't pushing me.

I've eliminated all sweets (dr. pepper, coffee with sugar, candy, cookies, cakes, etc.) I only drink water now. I've also been trying to limit my carb intake. Haven't had much bread. Had a lot of rice this weekend. Had jambalaya Thursday and Friday for dinner. Had gumbo Saturday for dinner and Sunday for lunch. also, had one whole wheat pita bread with my gyro salad last night.

Looks like I should be able to break 200 pretty easy this month. Just have to keep working at it. This week I'm only going to fast from Friday's breakfast and lunch. Not going to do today like I did last week.

Good luck to everyone this week. And, NO MORE CHEATING.

I am giving up Diet Cokes again....i used to drink 3-5 a day....then went cold turkey...then just recently I began drinking ONE per day.....but finally realized one per day ends up being a case a month....no DC's since Sat.

true, lol. They were sore at first but now it's like I can't work them hard enough. I probably need to lift heavier but I'd need a spotter.

Ate a little carbs this weekend, and a little salty popcorn so I'm about 1.5 lbs heavy this am. Tried the spartacus workout Sat and I'm still sore as hell. I'm going back to my regular workouts and save this for when I reach my target weight.

You've been at it for a long, long time dude. It's not wonder you're out of motivation.

I'm about to hit my 1 year and I get to feeling deflated from time to time in my motivation, so I can just about imagine. Especially when you're actually about where you want to be anyway..

i am going on 2 years & 2 months and have stagnated for the last 8 months between 190 & 200.

i have a good feeling about feb & march; i think i'm finally goign to break the 190 plateau.

ps 195 again today i'm as regular as rain.
