I picked up this gem at Jim's firearms:

Rock River Arms is doing some pretty sweet deals on Ar-15's if anyone is looking into getting one. You can get this one that is pretty tricked out right out of the box for right at 1 grand. You are looking at spending about 1300 to 1400 for an AR with these accessories on it with another brand.

Sweet! Now you just need to get some of those arrows from Rambo 3 that explode.

Let me know how you like that gun. I'm looking for an autoloader specifically for duck hunting(primarily in the marshes) so I'm looking for something that I won't be worried about getting dirty. I looked at one a couple years back but passed on it cause I just didn't know enough about them.

If I weren't working all this past weekend I probably would have been at Academy getting one too. I'm just going to have to pay the taxes. Maybe they'll put it on sale again. (When I looked at it last time it was on sale for $450 if I recall correctly)

Not me,but my son picked up a Browning Maxus. Knock down a few dove around the house this weekend with it. Shoots good, even after passing a few 3 1/2" buckshots. For the weight of it,it doesn't kick much. Still,I'm a fan of old school Browning.
