Marcus Davis and rhymes over Katz already? Ha

A lot of young kids are going to need to step up if we are going to have success this year. Young is not always bad in baseball. If the coaching is there, we will be very competitive.

rhymes will be in the lineup

REALLY looking forward to Rhymes... That kid is going to be electric, I think. I can't wait to watch Ryan Eades either, but only because he went to my highschool and lit up my hand when I caught for him.

It's a depth chart.
Settle Lester

I thought Katz showed enough at the end to at least start at a corner OF spot or DH. Or go into the season as a starter. Especially since Leblanc signed

We are going to lack power again but Rhymes at DH still excites me a lot. He absolutely tore up JUCO. What was it, like 7 or 8 SO's in well over 200 AB? Wow...

Will he be in the starting rotation come SEC time?

I heard this dude was rated really high but was drafted very late for some reason. A lot of people were REALLY high on him. Could be a big bat in the OF.

What school did he come from? Is he the Tulane transfer?
Posted on 8/18/10 at 3:09 pm to Geauxld Finger
Very worried about the starting pitching there, but I am loving that outfield
Posted on 8/18/10 at 3:11 pm to Weaver
Is Matty definitely gonna be starting?

Adam,
I am guessing if they graduate early and enroll early, that they will not be eligible for the MLB draft next year. Is that correct?
Posted on 8/18/10 at 3:13 pm to Weaver
jake cave will not be one of them
Posted on 8/18/10 at 3:15 pm to Weaver

Likely, some will say lack of depth but he's just that good.

Very, he was the 2nd best highschool prospect in Ohio this past season imo.
