5 Guys Burgers Put the Whoop On This Ole Boy

I've never eaten there before but heard wonderful glorious things about their food from people in the know, whom I trust dearly.
So me and a colleague were about to walk into Berryhill and I notice lo and behold there is a new 5 Guys right there.
I called an audible and we hit up 5 guys. I felt like hugging the woman when she told me "our standard burgers all come with two patties and you get all the fixins for free." She told me that the fries would feed both of us and she was right.
I literally had to be rolled out of the place and when I hooved it back to the office I headed straight for the private conference room known as the toilet and I had a long meeting with myself.
Has anyone eaten 5 Guys? I"m telling you it was incredible.

5 guys is great. Had it for the first time 2 weeks ago. But I agree with TT05, Smashburger is the best!

I had a crazy need for cheeseburgers post little 05. I am all knowing of that which is cheeseburger in Houston.
I've never eaten at the Steak Kountry Buffet off 59. I was banned from the one by Ikea and they have my picture on the Do Not Serve wall.

The fries suck imo tho they ive you a few pounds.....I like there burgers, tho not the best ive ever eaten, they arent bad for the money. Judice Inn for the frickin win bitches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

How do you over hype up a fairly bare bones burger place? No one that I've heard sing their praises grew up in the DC area, so it can't be nostalgia. If most people try them and say it is one of the best fast food burgers out there, then that is probably the case.
*But it's a burger chain, so that is not to say that every location is great, and burgers are quite subjective, so just because you may not have liked it doesn't mean that for most it isn't damn good.
