Do you want Bradley to stay on?

I haven't disliked Bradley as much as most of the WC posters. However, I was very frustrated with his insistence on using certain players in certain positions, such as Findley and Clark today. That was symptomatic of some of our worst and least-talented line-ups for the US.
We were also atrocious in the first 15 minutes of every game, and I am not sure why. This wasn't corrected, even before Algeria. For such a meticulously organized guy, this is not a good trend.
Just wondering if you guys want him back or not. I am undecided. His subs today were very good, and it seems like he is a little slow to understand things, but he isn't too proud to admit when he is wrong. He also seems like a good man who legitimately cares about his players (something the vast majority of coaches must have).
I am undecided, but I guess I would be for a new coach if it is a noticeable upgrade. No reason to dump him if we are going to take someone like Preki or a mercenary who doesn't give a shite about the players.

Not if a guy like Klinsman wants the job. Otherwise, I'm not opposed to it

It depends who else is looking at his job.
Bob > Arena
Klinsmann > Bob

No. Some convinced me that he wasn't too bad after the Algeria win. But this game was a microcosm of all my issues with Bob. He's too rigid for a fluid game.
Klinsmann should be called tomorrow.
If not him, then go international, at least for the next 3 years, then bring on an American to lead us to the cup if that's what they want.

I have heard he is a candidate along with Jason Kreis and some other MLS coach who I can't think of right now. If those are our choices, and Bradley doesn't have a good gig, I think we should stick with Bob.

I've only been keeping up with soccer really closely for about 16 months but it seems like national teams are quicker about pulling the trigger on a coach than just about any other sport I can think of.
Bradley's not starting Buddle is what most got to me but I don't really know any of the other options out there as far as getting other coaches is concerned.

I've been a fan of his lately, but today was just too much. He needs to go.

The US keeps guys along for much longer than just about anyone other than Arsenal, Man United, and the Scandinavian countries.
In Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Africa, coaches can get fired after literally a month or two (both clubs and internationally). It's pretty crazy and must really be counter-productive at some point.

I don't want him back for another World Cup, that's too long for a national coach.

I am a little worried about Klinnsman, though. I feel like he would be a really good hire, and I wanted him last time around, but I'm a little skeptical about how big his finishing third at the last tournament really was.

Do you guys really want Ricardo Clark starting in 2014??

I'd like Klinnsman, I'd prefer finding a Dutch coach though.

Interestingly enough, Steven Cohen on World Football Daily, who is gutted about this, by the way, wants to keep him. I was a bit surprised. Bob has improved in a year, along with his team. He keeps such meticilous records and does SO much anaysis, I don't know that we'd get anyone else who works as hard at it. He seems to learn from his mistakes, but he's still SO loyal.
Loyalty is a difficult thing, we bemoan it, in sports when it fails, and yet it's so valuable to be loyal to people. But sometimes it gets in the way of playing better and winning.
I think we had our chance with Jurgen Klinsmann, and that's over with now.
Really, who can we get better at this point?
I'd like, one day, to see Jason Kreis, now that y'all mention him....I mean a local New Orleans area guy as manager of the MNT, that's strong.
Dominick Kinnear? I mean, he's a nice club coach in MLS.
I just. Don't. Know.

Wish we locked up Hiddinck before Turkey did.
So is Bradley basically out, or is he getting more time. Consensus on this board, as well as normal trends of international football, suggests he'll be gone. However, I'm not so sure that's the American way.

He won't be gone right away. I do wish we would try really hard to get Louis van Gaal.

No. Starting Clark sealed the deal. Now if he's being replaced by SGE....
