How do you feel he did this year as pitching coach?
I'll just leave it at that...

Why weren't people questioning him last year?
So quick to chop his head off. Just for the record, I'm not a big fan of Grewe either.

I am definitely not a big fan.
I of course am not in the dugout but he didn't seem to be a very proactive pitching coach.
He seemed helpless to do anything to stop the bleeding during the pitching slump.
No, we are not going to reach Omaha every year but for a program of LSU's stature, it is a disappointment when they don't.
Another year of sub-500 ball in the SEC is unacceptable.
There has to be some tweaking done and Grewe should be the one tweaked.
We need a real pitching coach who can adjust mechanics, get inside pitchers' heads and be a psychologist and motivator, etc.
Les made the change when it was obvious Malveto wasn't working. He SHOULD have done the same with Crowton.
PM needs to forget about Grewe being his buddy (if that plays a part) and jettison him.

We did have AR healthy and confident last year, Louis Coleman, and teams hadn't "figured out" Matty Ott yet.

Not a strong feeling either way, but I'm kind of hoping he takes this Ohio St gig

I'm not an insider on the situation, has he? That sucks if true.

I think we need a real proven pitching coach.

I never liked the hire as a pitching coach. I liked the fact that he had head coaching experience but unless you were a pitcher yourself and coached pitchers hands in in the past, you shouldn't come to LSU as a pitching coach. I really didn't like Sanchez being promoted either with very little experience. I know it's hard to keep assistants and I don't see all that goes on. Id like to see a new pitching coach next season though and maybe another actual coach instead of Will Davis.

How many of us were calling for Crowton's head. Did he not lead the LSU team in 07 to the best offense ever.
At some point, coaches can f up. That is all I am saying.
We were all praising Crowton as the wizard, most of us now can't stand the guy.
shite happens.

What do you do if you are Bedrosian or Gausman? The only reason you would not sign is to play in college and to get better. Is that going to happen here? What pitcher actually improved from where he was before this year started to the end? How about Joey B.. or Matulis? Grewe staying not only hurts current pitchers but runs off potential ones.
Hire someone who actually can coach pitchers, with experience doing so. Grewe is a head coach in training,, LSU had the 3rd best staff this weekend,,

Who is the hitting coach? The Tigers only gave up 6 runs to UCLA and 4 the next game to CSI. A team that hasn't learned how to bunt. I am not joining the rantards but am just curious as to why this guy is getting slammed and the rest of the staff is catching a break. For all you Miles haters out there, other than coach Stud, Les has attempted to improve his position coaches. And for anyone who has been in the place of authority, his job is to manage the coaches not the players. PM will evaluate his staff after this season but he will have trouble replacing coaches that coached players to the CWS last year.

Maybe we can hire that Rhino Shield guy, Kevin Mmahat. Forget it, he is a Tulane alum
