I was in a car with my wife on my way to visit my Mom. I got so fricking pissed that my wife demanded I stop the car to let her drive.

you posit the wrong question totally. It should read like this: Where were you when Lynn Amedee told Jamie Howard to throw the ball when LSU was up by twenty four points in the fourth quarter. Why did CH let him do it? Why didn't CH fire him on the spot after LA blamed it all on JH.

First year in Alaska. Didn't get the game on the tube so caught the updates watching some other game. Sloshed, I was shocked when I saw the final score.

It was bad... really bad. I remember that game. The only thing that makes me feel better (It totally fixes me today) is that LSU has 2 NC trophies since that game and AU has none.

On my way to Knoxville for the UT/Florida game. The "Big Orange Scoreboard" was giving us updates all the way up I-75.

Working at the Magnolia Cafe on Sherwood.

..a bunch of friends showed up to party at halftime, only for JH to wreck it.

I was living in Tuscaloosa. We had a company bbq that afternoon and had a tv in a tent many of us watching the game. Most of the crowd were bama fans so they were cheering us on as we built up a good lead. When Auburn finally won after all the interceptions, the crown turned on me with my LSU cap and ragged me unmercifully.

At the Game In the end zone where the touchdowns came back! Sitting next to my friend, an Auburn Grad, in total disbelief! and shock that our coaching staff would continue to call pass plays!

I remember thinking throughout the game, until the melt down, how well the team was playing and that they seemed to have turned the corner.

Living and working in a small town in East TX. I guess I listened to it on AM radio which was typically the way I caught games then. Good ole Hawthorne.

can't remember where i was watching it, but i do remember the worst of actions displayed by some of our supposed tiger fans.

this occurred the next day when i drove by a beat up white station wagon with "KILL HOWARD" spray painted on the side.

I was a freshman at LSU, watching it at a friends house. It was utterly unbelievable. After two, we were sreaming "RUN IT YOU STUPID F*CK" over and over. Was like watching a train wreck in slow motion.
