Ate there for lunch on Friday and dinner on Saturday... without a doubt the best BBQ in New Orleans!!!

Yeah, it is great bbq. I love their beans. I enjoy Squeal BBQ on Oak too.

True. But the best thing I've ever had from Hillbilly has been the baked beans. And I've tried everything to give it a fair shot. I've also had a few meals that were lukewarm, and one of the ladies that works there is a bitch to the customers. It's sad that it's the best option in JP

I like Walkers better, but I've only been to either place (Walkers and Hillbilly) once each.

I have been twice. First time when they were only opened for about two weeks. It was at best average. Went about a month ago and they are getting better.

minus the inch of dry rub thrown on their food and the semi-raw chicken I had when there. It wasn't too bad, but I hope it isn't the best.

the 2 times i went to hillbilly i could barely chew it. i'll prob never go back
one of the few times a chain is better than an original place.
