I just found out one of my good friends is a "die hard" Duke fan. After he revealed that, he then said he could not name one player on their team. why do people feel the need to do this?

At worst I could see if they're a premier team in your state, like OSU and Ohio for example.

there are still teams that I root for because I liked them before I went to LSU, but once I came here I quickly lost interest. I am still a UNC fan, but in high school I followed them way more closely than I do now.
