I believe it is Sayid-syntric.

Doubt it. They won't kill her until her and Jin have a reunion. I thin the title is referring to the time of day since we've been on 5 episodes taking place on the exact same day. It also refers to the Season 1 episode "House of the Rising Sun", which is also the 6th episode of each of their seasons.

Quick question.. Either I missed the discussion or it hasn't been vetted.. Why did doogan feel the need to con Jack into killing sayid? Why don't they just do it themselves? In lighthouse they all look frightned and guarded towards sayid.. Why not just lock him up or just kill him?

Good question. I'm really not sure why when he failed the test they didn't just kill him then.

guessing they need Jack to be on their side. he would lose his shite if they killed his buddy and wouldnt want to work with the others if that was the case

for that matter, why didnt they kill Claire?
if she got the ash/hot poker litmus test, why didnt they kill her then as well? It appears as if she failed the test, yet they kept her alive long enough for her to escape?
Something's just not right here. There's a rule here we're still unaware of.

Id assume it is the same as when the kid told Flocke that he couldnt kill Sawyer

They can't kill Sayid if he is a candidate, right?

That's my line of thinking. I keep thinking that free will plays into this.. That SAyid needed to take the pill on his own accord to actually kill his "spirit, soul" or whatever appears to be left. Seems like the only reason they would try and get jack to do it.

She had her baby in season 4. She left her daughter to return to the island to find Jin.

no she had the baby and left it (a girl maybe?? my memory sucks) with her mom back home i believe.

I think Sayid's "big decision" is whether to take the pill or not. That issue has yet to be resolved. My guess is Flocke and Co. are going to mess with the temple somehow, and their ability to enter may hinge on Sayid's consumption of the pill.
