have all shown versatility and have real talent. As far as Depp is concerned, "Donnie Brasco", "Sleepy Hollow", and "Edward Scissorhands" are pretty varied roles, IMO.

"The Ninth Gate", "Public Enemies", "From Hell", "Finding Neverland"

All pretty varied as Hollywood movies go.

Want me to keep going? That's seven counting my original post. How many do I have to name?

He hasn't really tested himself in anything since Frailty. I'd like to see him do a smaller scale movie where he really immerses himself into it. Everything he does is big, wide release, typical studio fare. I think he'd do well in another small-scale flick. Maybe he just doesn't want to do one.
Marshall was a pretty stretch, playing a quirky, kinda oddball character.

John Cusack or Morgan Freeman or Hugh Grant are the correct answers.

Owen Wilson. With the exception of Behind Enemy Lines, he usually plays a goofy playboy type of character.

Oops. I've had this trouble understanding posts lately. Maybe I need to go back on my medication.

Daniel Day Lewis. . .at least I assume so, based on the fact that he keeps playing the same character.

Wow. Severely epic fail in the second post of a thread.

Was totally different in Chaos Theory (which I was surprised to enjoy, since it had such bad reviews).
