I remember the one on Airline Highway between Goodwood and Old Hammond. Used to have a window to watch them make the pizzas. Gone late 70's.

I may be too young to remember Shakey's but I definitely miss Pizza Inn.

Shakeys was my favorite.. The dark lighting, the smell, the thin crust, cold beer, the "piano man", all made it a great place.

Color of my mind reminded me of dancing at CYO dances to Color my World.

Yeah...I'm old too.

Shakey's is still in existence. Most of the locations were shut down (I think in the 80s) because of the sale of the franchise to some foreign venture. I think there was litigation. there was one in Memphis back when I was a kid and it was awesome.

Not the one in NO, but I do remember the one down the street from McNeese. Good times playing Pac-Man there.

Someones dad would drop us off at the trampoline place on vets and we would jump for a few hours.(they had a pet skunk in a cage, don`t know why.) Then when we were done jumping,we would all run across Veterans Blvd. and get some pizza,I`am thinking around 1974 or 75. Good times.
