There are three phases to football. Special teams can lose a game faster than the other two.

Idk, I heard another school that was goin to the dome had a big time punter as well. I thought it was West Monroe.

After the way our "Junior College All-American" preformed this year, I don't have a problem with it. I've seen all the sub 25 yard punts that I can stand.

Do you watch the games? We have like top 2 or 3 net punting in the league.

FYI, Helton was one the biggest reasons we were even in the Bama game. He flipped the field a bunch of times on them. With all the problems we had this year he is the least of our troubles.

Heard that this guys punts 70 yards. Would like to see that. May have to go on youtube.

Yes, the rumors of Helton's demise are greatly exaggerated. I don't know where that comes from.

That was jasper doing all the situational punting and putting bama inside the twenty, though I think Helton has been much better as the year progressed. His sky punts helped us contain arenas. He'll be really good next year

it comes from a hatred so intense that it blocks all rational thoughts, and destroys the ability to form an objective analysis

Helton struggled at the start of the season but came around nicely in SEC play.

This kid will be the second coming of Thunderfoot Jones.

I've seen it with my own eyes, and it is sick.

And he's from Australia.

Yes I did. I really enjoyed the Washington game where he had punts of 36, 23, 38 and 31 yards. It took him until his 8th punt of the season to kick one at least 40 yards. You can't tell me that he is better than Donnie Jones, Patrick Fisher etc.

We had many problems, you are right, and Helton was just one of them. That was Jasper pinning Bama back deep.

That was the first game of the season you clown. Everyone knew he struggled in the first few games. He was pretty damn good after that. He probably had nerves because the reports were he boomed the hell out of the ball in fall practice.

I agree, but he now has the 2nd or 3rd net punting average in the SEC, including those first 8 punts.
