More power to them for consistently working and feeding their kids. But what actors went from critically acclaimed or recognized roles, to the discount DVD bin?
Starting with:
Val Kilmer
Cuba Gooding Jr
Ben Kingsley

Wesley Snipes has been all direct-to-video since Blade

i cant believe the garbage Cuba Gooding dropped into. That one stupid arse movie with him in the military vs monsters or whatever and that one with him as a crooked cop.
My answer would be Ray Liotta - was in Powder Blue which was an abomination and also in a drug movie I just saw called The Line. movies that couldve been good but were just terrible.

I'm not sure, but would Eddie Murphy be considered in this category?

Most of these guys fall into two categories.
Some are notorious assholes or just hard to work with (Val Kilmer and Christian Slater).
Others just sell out and do shitty movies for tons of money (Cage, Eddie Murphy, Kingsley, and I guess Madsen).
However, I am confused about Snipes and Cuba Gooding Jr. Would they really fall into either position?
Among actresses, a good one is Mira Sorvino.

Michael Keaton comes to mind.

I would say Charlie Sheen but he's got a little comeback going on with Wall Street 2 coming out in a few months.

The gay boat movie, Rat Race, and Snow Dogs.
Then the sequel to Daddy Day Care.

Meg Ryan
After "Sleepless in Seattle" and "You've Got Mail" I think several thought she would be one of Hollywood's leading ladies for years to come, but not so much once we got into the 2000's
I think some poor plastic surgery really did her in...

Kevin Costner.
Dropoffs don't get much steeper than from "Field of Dreams" & "Dances W/ Wolves" to "Rumor Has It" and "3000 Miles to Graceland".

Didn't read all the pages but i'll go with a few people that we all assumed would blow up and just didn't. Not saying that they haven't done anything, but i thought they would do way more.
