Obviously, it's tough to fill Porter's shoes, but if there was anyone out there that could do it, it's Wilson. His addition is vital in plugging any cracks/leaks in the supposed wall around Louisiana that LSU has worked so hard to establish over the years.

An addition of Rob Ianello from ND as WR coach would be just as amazing, IMO, but as I understand, it's a far fetched notion.

First stop...Temple, TX, Frank...no need to get settled in BR yet.

I was hoping that ND not going to a bowl game would help us with him, but I don't think the ND brass is going to hurry through the hiring process and that will keep him tied up for a while.

I don't really follow this stuff. Does getting FW mean that we're keeping Crowton?

It seems that Tyke Tolbert's name came up when trying to replace Monken. He was dedicated to being an NFL coach at the time, but do you happen to think he would make the change now?

No, FW will do his damage on the recruiting trail.

they might not, and if the supposed insiders are right, they won't.

having 2 years of a totally shitty and inept offense, and les won't get rid of the source. wow, he's fricking up horribly if he keeps crowton.

Between Frank covering greater NOLA and Yano covering everwhere else the rest of our staff can take recruiting season off.

no real substance to my post, just a hunch. let's see if the next ND coach tries to keep him on staff. would love to have that cat on our staff though

If he's unemployed, we would have to be near the top of his wish list. . .as far as teams with an opening.
