"Promoted to assistant head coach (offense) in January 2009 and will lead offensive staff meetings when head coach Charlie Weis is not present."

Gonna be leading a lot of meetings soon.

Do it. A dream staff might be able to overwhelm Les' stupidity... I like it. We save the 2011 class and get back-to-back ten-win seasons.

He is trying to say that they should hire a black.

i was mainly just joking b/c he wasn't black

WRs coach and RBs coach is generally reserved for so-so coaches who are black who can recruit

He'd be a great hire IMO. He'd bring new territory and while he's not "ethnic" like some people seem to think is necessary ( ) his track record is great, and he can say I coached up Golden Tate, Floyd, Smardjia (sp>), McKnight, etc.

Also, being that he's likely Catholic, he'll fit in down south, but can he handle the debauchery that is South Louisiana? Is he our type of Catholic?

yea monken's style didn't fly at first with the WRs, but once they fell in line and got with him you couldn't argue with his results

if he returns here I'd think he'd want the OC job that he didn't get years ago. Not sure if he's bitter over that or not
