definitely agree with this. plus he's in production to do Aquaman, the biggest movie never to be made yet.

And we can add Gangs of New york to his list. Although i think Daniel Day Lewis made the movie.. Leo was without a doubt awesome in it as well.

Leo is a WAY better actor than Christian could ever hope to be.

Anyone who becomes Scorcese’s go-to actor wins my vote. Leo.

Really, his credits are amazing. His first three movies were What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?, The Basketball Diaries, and This Boy’s Life. All incredible performances.

He then made what I like to call “interesting failures” in The Beach and Romeo + Juliet. Loved him in both of these (and Titanic came out, which is becoming so ridiculously bashed that it is now almost underrated – and whatever problems the film has, it is not with the two leads).

His “adult” career has just been stellar: Catch Me If You Can, The Aviator, Departed, Blood Diamond, Revolutionary Road (I think his best work), and Gangs of New York.

He’s had a few missteps (Body of Lies) and obvious paydays (Man With the Iron Mask), but his work has been consistently stellar.

I agree. Once I got past the teeny bopper thing, I began to appreciate him.

When my wife and I saw the previews to his new movie about the asylum, we both turned to one another and said we've got to go see that when it comes out. Like him or hate him, his movies are entertaining to say the least.

Bale's an intense actor, but that's all he can ever seem to be. I think Dicaprio has a much better range, he's got more flexibility in the roles that he can pull off.

:kige:

But I think Bale could be more.

I can halfway see Dicaprio pulling off the Machinist, I can't see Christian Bale as Arnie from What's Eating Gilbert Grape.

Bale was a solid as a kid actor, I wouldn't say he couldn't pull it off.

Leo gets my vote, but only because I don't think Bale as reached his own potential yet.

Leonoardo DiCaprio by far. The only thing I really liked Christian Bale in was American Psycho and The Prestige.

Not even close....Leo all the way. The man can do any genre: romance, comedy/adventure, drama, and now thriller/horror with his upcoming films.

Tough call cause they both play slight variations of themselves in every movie. I give the nodd to Bale though.

Wierd. I watched The Dark Knight and the end of The Basketball Diaries late last night. Forgot how fricked up of a movie Basketball Diaries is. I like Bale better though.

Leo is the best actor in ages. Christian Bale is mildly intriguing. No contest.
