There would have been time left on the clock in the Auburn game had the ball been swatted away. If I remember correctly we had to kick off because there was time left on the clock.

Probably so, but way TOO close to call.

The Auburn game where Flynn threw the TD pass to Byrd with no time left.

that was more on Flynn for taking a while to snap the ball. and I'm by no means a Miles apologist.

The play against Auburn was called from the sidelines with over 25 seconds left. Flynn just took his god damn time. It was his fault.

That was Flynn's fault IMO. He had at least 15-20 seconds on the clock after the play call if I remember correctly.

Yes, you do remember correctly. AU 2007 wasn't clock mismanagement, it was a great call that our QB took way too long to implement. Go look at the video above...they break the huddle with 19-20 secs left and don't snap it until 8 secs. Not Miles fault at all.

The rest of the games mentioned here do qualify though.

it happens more often than you might think.

yesterday in the detroit vs cleveland game for example. why would mangini call timeout when he did?

But we would have CLEARLY had PLENTY of time to run the FG unit out right.

Still waiting for a specific example.

Yesterday in the Ravens Colts game, Harbaugh TOOK A TIMEOUT, THEN CHALLENGED A SPOT THAT WAS CLEARLY CORRECT, and lost ANOTHER timeout with 2:30 left in the game. Cost Ravens a chance to get the ball back in a 2 pt loss.

My point exactly we would have been able to kick the field goal on the next play as time ran out.

2005 ag/ U-Thug. Jamarcus at the end of the 1st half. No time outs, he rolls left, gets tackled at the U-Thug 15. Time runs out. They come back to win.

No the call against AU in 07 was the correct call.

I'm very anti-Les now, but this is one he got correct

Yeah I remember that. The timeout call after the interception was that game too.

First game in Death Valley for Miles.

I think that first impression stuck with people more than they'd ever admit or realize.

If you look back on any coaches carer you will find times that they should have or should have not called a time out.

Exactly. If Bryd drops the pass (by the way it wasn't an easy catch), we blow the game.

Miles owes Byrd 1 blow-job.

Agreed, but I'm asking for specific examples.

The bashers pretend like this has been happening twice a game for 5 years, and I'm just asking for a few specific examples.

The Georgia game this year.

Took him 40 seconds to call a timeout, LOL

Miles is not a "Game General". He may be a great recruiter. But he has not developed his recruits and has not taken charge of a game in quite some time. LSU is better than that and we have seen this coming for a while. It is time for him to go and let's get to the level of play that these players are capable of.
