I know that this more for the Movie/TV Board but I wanted to get the food boards opinion on the remaining chefs. Who do you think is the most talented?
Mine is definately Kevin.

I completely agree. Looks like the Voltaggio assholes are going to try to dismiss his cooking as simple and unoriginal, but I still think he kicks there arse.

I think Kevin and Michael are easily the two most talented ones with Jennifer being just as talented but obviously burnt out. I think Kevin will win it.

agreed. Jennifer has upset me as of late because she hasn't been on top of her game. I'm VERY glad Robin has FINALLY been sent packing, though her stay was a few weeks too long.

Kevin's food seems really down to earth. Michael has a HIGH opinion of himself and his food.

I'm glad you worded it this way

I think it's funny that a lot of people get all into these shows and think they know who is better without the chance to actually taste any of the food.

I think kevin is the best one left, but it seems like through out the shows they dont take into account what you have done before in the eliminations (robin staying so long when she was clearly the worst) so who knows who will win, if one has a bad day its over.

What sucks to me, is how the show has gotten almost completely away from giving you any idea as to what actually goes into preparing these dishes. It really doesn't help in that regard.

Seems like they gave you more nuts and bolts, so to speak, in the earlier seasons.

yeah they have gotten more into stupid, borderline outlandish challenges rather than actually showcasing FOOD. I want to watch them cook and prepare and not who Robin is pissing off at the moment.

I thought Ashley and Mattin being sent home instead of Robin has been the worst eliminations this season.

I agree with everything you guys are saying! Robin annoyed me to no end- she was TERRIBLE and I couldn't wait for her to go.
Michael I- so frickin cocky, I wanted him kicked off weeks ago just for sheer dislike

The Voltaggio's are so snobby! I liked them in the beginning, but lately, they get on my nerves.

I think Jennifer is so much better than she's been performing, but you must have a desire to do well to win anything. She'll probably go home tonight.

I think either Bryan or Eli goes home tonight. Jennefer gets lost a lot when they throw concepts at the contestants since she is always second guessing herself but tonights episode is based on a french culinary olympic which she is a classically trained french chef. If she goes home tonight she really deserves it. I see it being Eli to go.

i think it's a case of robin not doing nearly as badly as either during their respective elimination challenges.

if you remember, mattin's 3 way ceviche was disgusting per collichio, and ashley's gnocchi was way too salty while robin road mike I's coattails in that partner-up challenge.

Certainly.

Wasn't Eli on there? I don't know. I hadn't been watching and tried to catch up on the re-runs. Is he gone? He was good too. Michael is a tool.

I think that was more Eli than her though.

As for Mattin I thought he screwed himself over not realizing that his dish sucked and didnt own up to it. But he was one of the more talented chefs this season that got kicked off way too soon and just lost in a stupid challenge.

this....at least two or three chefs got kicked off just this season alone for not realizing or owning up to the fact that their dish sucked for whatever reason.

Come one dude, you've ate food all your life. You know what you like and what you don't like. You can tell when you see something weather you're going to like it or not. I can tell by Kevin's style of cooking that I'd like just about anything he'd make.
