Pretty sure Scott had another 15 yards left in the tank for the TD run.

You told them the wrong thing. Tell them that the penalty sucked and absolutely cost Georgia a much much better team the game, officials stole the game from Georgia on that call and many many others calls. Tell them the refs looked paid off.

Why because no loss hurts more than one that you think you got screwed by the refs. Make it hurt!

Oh and throw in the LSU sucks and is way overrated. That will make their loss sting that much more.

Of course, it is hypocricy defined for LSU fans to criticize UGA fans for blaming the refs for a loss. I mean...LSU fans have never done that before...no sir...not at all.

Even though there was a GA player within 5 yrds of the ball??? Or how about that he was outside of the tackle box???

There is a chance it did. Trindons return did more to do that than anything.

How do we know that the kicker wouldnt have punched it through the back of the endzone? Also, I guarantee the same play call sequence wouldnt have happened had the kickoff been deeper. So the thought "It only took us 23 seconds to score" is fricking stupid.

The penalty was lame, but you can blame Trindon's return on the penalty. If you take the 15 ards away, we start at midfield instead of having it at the UGA 38. We had a minute to get 20 yards for a winning FG. That call DID NOT save our asses. Trindon F'ing Holiday saved our asses!

Because Trindon caught the ball around the 17. If you move the ball up 15 yards he would have caught it at the 2.

Again, how do you know that the kicker wouldnt have punched it through the back of the endzone? Or that the kicker wouldnt have squibbed it? All of the strategy changed after that 15yrs. Would Trindon have taken the kick back the whole way, its quite possible...

Like it or not, you people need to take off the purple and gold glasses and admit the penalty prob saved our asses.

was the kicker going to gain leg strength if he kicked off at the 30 instead of the 15?

OK I can't let this go. You need to learn the difference between the word "benefactor" and "beneficiary". The first is totally not what you meant to say and the second is probably hyperbolic anyway. Go back to 9th grade.

b/c if you add 15 yards to that kick it's not even close to the back of the endzone. Also, it's safe to assume that Holliday was told to run it out wherever he catches it based on the time left and the need for a big play.

Was the celebration call a bad one? yes. Did it cost UGA the game? absolutely not, esp considering we only needed a FG.

For fricks sake, its like arguing with kids.

So you think the kicker would have lined up and kicked the exact same way? When a kicker kicks it out of the back of the endzone why doesnt he do that every time??? Its called variables. Every little thing makes a difference.

Again, how do we know they wouldnt have squibbed the kick?

Ill give you an example, hopefully you morons can keep up.

Baseball: Runner on first base, gets picked off stealing. During the at bat, the batter ends up hitting a homerun. Do you bitch that it should have been a 2 run homer? NO, because the pitch sequence would have changed had that runner remained on first or even stolen second. How do we know the wouldnt have intentionally walked the batter to set up a double play? You dont, the variables changed.

Same as in the game yest, the 15 yard penalty changed everything. Be happy that it was in our favor.

Dude, you are being ridiculous. What if they squibbed it? We'd have taken over on the 40 yard line with a minute on the clock, needing 30 yards to get in FG range for the win. You are using one penalty as an excuse to take away two extremely good plays that we made after. If you are going to do that, you may as well go back to the so-called fumble by RS.

I'm with you that it wasn't a safety (though it was very close), but you can't take away the 80 yards we EARNED because of that 15 yard penalty.

You know, you seem awfully angry for a fan of a team that just beat a top 20 team. Are you getting enough fiber in your diet?

using your logic every team should blame the refs for every loss because there is always a bad call by the refs for every team
