Maybe the SEC refs wanted the Tigers to remain unbeaten for their game against No. 1 Florida next week. Who knows, but I always dislike it when referees ruin a great game.

AND the article is poorly written.
I dislike that everyone is pointing to the penalty as the turning point of the game. Yes, we were helped on field position, but that was largely the result of trindon's return.
Georgia had the same opportunity, albeit with less time, as we received the call as well after CS's touchdown.
Georgia can blame no one but themselves for not capitalizing on the opportunity. Their return sucked and their quarterback threw an interception with the game on the line. All penalties make a difference one way or the other, but in no way did this one DECIDE the game. If Georgia had won on their last drive this would be a non-issue.
How about the Russel-Shepard non-fumble blown call or the SAFETY we should have had.

all they had to do was stop us. they did it almost all game long. we were setting up a field goal and they got burned on a basic off tackle run.

What will be the Whine of the Day next week after the Tigers beat the lizards?

Why do people care what's written on the fricking Bleacher Report?

Besides his many grammatical errors he also can't add very well.
The field is 106 yards long between the hedges? Who knew?

After LSU’s Trindon Holliday returned the kickoff for 68 yards, they were already at the Georgia 38 yard line.

quote:This was just as big of an official frick up that has gone largely unnoticed. Those three yards give us a first down inside the UGA 10 and are likely to result in points on the board.

I agree. This was a big dea. And the officials had all the time in the world to catch it.

Don't even refer to Bleacher Report posts as "articles."
They have no more credibility than the post that I'm writing right now.
ANYONE can create a Bleacher Report blog and draw attention to themselves.
