Boise St player will probably be suspended for a half by the Boise St coach. Peterson looked pissed off right after the guy hit Blount's shoulder pads. Even after the guy got cocked, his coach was still chewing on his arse.

Apparently little history from last years game.. and late hits by BSU on OR QB.. I wonder if 94 was one of the ones that allegedly hit the QB late last year

I think that if he had just sucked punched the Boise player, he would have gotten 2-3 games. Even Davie suggested a game or two.
The next few minutes is what set it over the top, with the cops, fans, teammates, etc. I bet the visitors locker room is pretty interesting right now, and Oregon will probably have to spend some of Phil Knight's paychecks to pay for the damage.

I cant believe the amount of people on here actually defending this criminal act. Big deal, the BSU guy talked trash. That gives you the right to suckerpunch the BSU player in the face when the head coach was already laying in to him?? Talk about a classless move. He should be on his way to jail.

Battery is the intentional use of force or violence upon the person of another without a defense. You'd have to argue that he was defending himself. And I wonder whether a punch is justified for a pad slap. Depends on who's paying me. I guess I could argue either way
