I've seen a lot of posters claiming Washington doesn't stand a chance. I agree that we should beat them handily, but that doesn't mean we will.

UW is a school with a proud tradition. It wasn't that long ago that they were in the NC discussion pretty regularly. Steve Sarkisian was a good coordinator at USC. Couple that with the fact that we are traveling there, and you have the makings of an upset.

I think LSU will win the game, but it wouldn't surprise me if the score was closer than most folks think.

Yeah, I suppose it wasn't a wise choice, but I can't change it now, it's kind of grown on me.

Jake Locker is really good.

UW, with a new coach, a proud tradition, and coming off a terrible year, will start the game with a purpose and a fire that we will have to match.

Every time a PAC-10 team plays an SEC school, they see it as an opportunity to prove themselves and shut up a bunch of Southerners.

Still, unless we've been lied to, our talent is head and shoulders above them, and we should win going away.

Ok if that makes you sleep better at night then so be it!

Let me guess your next post:

"LSU fans better start getting focused on this game because we are overlooking UW".

La Tech stood a good shot of beating U-dub last year

I understand the need for humility in all games. Pride goeth before a fall.

And the reverse is true, by LSU's new standards (aka we've become spoiled to winning) last season was atrocious. This team should be, and by all indicators thus far, just as hungry if not hungrier than ever.

And every time there is an OOC game there's a chance to shut up the other conference.
