No Towelie, you don't have to be rich to be a real fan. My point was that the fans that only care about the "big/good" games are not true fans. If you chose to skip the LA Tech game because you just don't care, but die to go to Florida, you are not a real fan. You are only a fan when it REALLY REALLY counts. If you chose not to go to Seattle because you can't afford it/can't take off of work, that is a valid choice. You can be a real fan and watch from home, but real fans wouldn't piss on those going, they would encourage them to be loud and proud to take up your slack.

And yes, it is clear to me that LSU is the only school that has fans that sells tickets. We should be banned by the NCAA and have to sit the year out. It doesn't happen anywhere else!

huh?

yes.

He says there is much for him to do in NOLA than NYC. NYC just has some monuments and buildings to look at, and it's really an overrated destination.

i mean, living in jefferson parish your whole life and taking 90% of your vacations to destin makes you quite worldly. So much so that you are even able to know anything and everything about places you have never spent any substantial time, and even some places you have never even visited.

I'd love to go to Seattle for this game, but I have to get the bus ready to go to Baton Rouge the following week....

The real trick about New York City is having the money to live a decent lifestyle there...if Mother Army would offer me a job at Fort Hamilton (the Brooklyn side of the Verazanno Narrows) with contract quarters on post....I'd take it in a heartbeat for a couple of years....

NYC has a wonderful LSU alumni group there and going to watch a game with them is as close to being in Tiger Stadium as you will find....

Agreed. Taking someone's word that a city 2500 miles away is lame and then basing your actions off of that is both lame and insular.

I now live in the NW just North of Seattle and A word of advice if you are considering going to Vancover better be sure to check out how u cross the border no rental cars allowed to cross the border, I suggest bus to Bellingham and rent a Car. Also rules have changed on border crossings. You will need a passport for sure.

Don't you laugh at lester. If you do he will judge where you live by drawing on his depth of worldly experiences in Harahan. tread carefully.
