Do a search and I am sure you can find 5 or 6 good threads in the last month that will give you some info.

Good to hear. I think I am going there in a couple of weeks. I was told they show the UFC pay-per-view events. Hope that is true.

Gulf Shores Steamer is one of my favorites.
I like chill at the hang out but find the food only so-so. (JMO) Kids love th play in the sand tunnel.

Lulus is the worst food on planet earth.

BEST AROUND:
TinTop (its a little drive, but awesome food)
Geno's (by Zekes)
Ginny Lane's (in Wharf)

PRETTY GOOD:
Original Oyster House
Sea and Suds (fried seafood)
Lester's
Franco's Italian

Decent:
Gulf Coast Steamer
DeSotos

When my family used to go, we usually cooked. However, we would order pizza from Pappa Rocco's. Living in North La., we never went to Destin because of distance, but I now gladly weather the few extra hours for Destin.

Btw, I recall it being much better than Johnny's.

I like Lambert's. Not exactly in Gulf Shores, but just north of there. If you came in from I-10 you will actually pass it on your way to Gulf Shores. Pretty good food and if you have kids the experience is the best.
