First time boiling blue crab

Posted by Garcie10 on 11/7/15 at 12:00 pm
For tonights LSU party I am doing a crab and shrimp boil. I have a lot of experience with crawfish, but I have never boiled blue crab. Any helpful hints on cleaning, seasonoing, and cooking methods? Thanks
I just pray that this lineup stays hot throughtout the playoffs because we all know it has been either feast or famine for us all year long. We could score 8 with 3 bombs or we could get 3 hit shutout just as quick. Not having a true ace worries me a little as well, but that anchor in the bullpen makes you feel better.
any of you guys like to inject your briskets or just rub on the outside? Also hickory or pecan?
thanks guys, seems like the majority opinion is pecan, apple, cherry or any fruit wood for ribs and hickory or pecan for brisket, stay away from mesquite

what wood is the best for smoking?

ribs or brisket which wood do you guys prefer?
I would much rather have got Cody Ross instead of BJ this offseason i've always liked that guy.

brown sugar in crawfish boil

Anyone ever heard of people using this? I had some crawfish that had a different sweet taste to them and I asked what was different and they said there was a little brown sugar in it. Thoughts?
The old school black, purple, and gold baseball unis looked good. IMO

I didn't really know much about it, I thought it was a little too small.
