Making a quick trip to the beach tomorrow and want some quick, light and fresh appetizers. We aren't cooking or going out to eat and no grill.
I have proscuitto wrapped cantalope
fresh pico
fresh cucumbers sliced with lemon pepper, salt and vinegar
Maybe a caprice salad.
Need a few more light items.

For the caprese salad...do them as kabobs. I did this for an ourdoor party and it was a big hit.

Pick up chicken salad from Calvin's, Martini. Grapes, apples, cheese and crackers/French bread.
Soak some strawberries in a little grand marnier and toss in sugar.
Fresh pineapple and it ain't bad mixed in with those strawberries.

Marinated crab claws...I would add Drusila House dressing to a tub of brab claws...put them in the ice chest...great snack when it's hot outside....don't know where you would find the Drusila Dressing anymore.

I always put some grapes, watermelon, or blueberries in the freezer the night before and then throw them in the ice chest the next day and eat them as they thaw.

Probably end up with a bag of Lays.

Maybe I'll just go to Dave and Busters.

I'll make a crudite platter and make different dips to go along with the vegetables like hummus, cream cheese based dip and balsamic/red wine vinegar/herbs
small cold sandwiches like turkey and brie, roast beef and swiss, ham and smoked gouda
