LSU dominated that game statistically and OU never had anything going on offense consistently. If not for that tough 2 yard scoring drive the score would have reflected those statistics.

Well, in all fairness to the OU pu$$ies, it's a pretty well accepted fact that in much the same way that Rosenblatt is known as "Alex Box North," Tempe, Arizona is known as "Boise South".

I've actually had people tell me that OU dominated that entire game in 03.

What game were they watching? Tell those morons to go look at the stats. LSU COMPLETELY dominated for three quarters, then started getting tight in the 4th.

If memory serves, OU had to drive a total of about 30 yards for its two scores, maybe even less.

I am here 5 days a week and go home on the weekends. It's just the most rediculous sports talk I have ever heard. Typical small market stuff and a bunch of whiners when it comes to OU. OU is much more obsessed with Texas than Texas is with OU and the Big 12 has an inferiority complex when it comes to the SEC. I've never heard a bunch of whiny radio guys obsess more about claiming the Big 12 is better than the SEC.

OU still complaining

I live in Kansas and have to deal with these people quite frequently. One of my in-laws is a Sooner fan. I once caught him complaining to his Texas fan friend about how Jason White wasn't at his best and LSU wasn't really that good and the SEC is overrated. He stopped talking when he realized I was standing there. It was funny. He said absolutley nothing after the UF game.

They are still complaining about having to play LSU and Florida in Louisiana and Florida for the BCS Championship and how it should have been played on a neutral field.

For what it's worth, we are still complaining about 2003 too!

if the game were a few minutes longer i think they would have won....but it isnt so STFU. i sat next to an OU fan that thought every play should have been a touchdown for them, or a turnover, or there should have been a penalty against LSU. the guy was absolutely miserable to listen to. all this after he took all of my leg room because he had knee surgery, and his leg was still in a brace. F him

They don't bring that up. They just talk about how it was unfair that they had to play us and Florida in their home states and I think it is Eshbeck who said "we had to play LSU in Baton Rouge"

I just moved to Edmond from Shreveport and it truly is amazing the excuses they give for the total meltdown in BCS games. It didn't go over real well when I put my LSU helmet in my office.

No if the game had been longer we still win because we wouldn't have been running out the clock on the last drive of the game.

Bottom line....we won, they lost. They don't like any fan base of a team that beats them. They love the fans of the teams they own like Kansas, Missouri, Baylor, TAM, Iowa State.

Yea, I have LSU stuff all over my office. Framed posters of BCS games, Les holding up the crystal, diplomas, L-Letter Plaque, L-Letter Certificate, LSU water bottle, LSU Caps. It's great.

It's sucks having to live among OU fans, but hey, it makes for a very interesting conversation sometimes.

I'm just amazed that they are still complaining about the 03 game they lost after losing to USC, Boise State, West Virginia and then Florida. It's a case of it's everyone elses fault but ours. Maybe they should just stop playing ranked out of conference teams.

my friends and the people i work with give me shite but it's cool. it pisses me off when i go to a store with an LSU shirt an and someone makes a comment. one day i was pissed off anyway and this guy made some mumbling comment about my shirt at wal-mart. i looked right at him and asked him what he just said. he just looked at me and shook his head. jesus it's like i'm a child molester or something when i wear my LSU shirt. before 03 it was "OU would kill LSU" now it's "OU should have won that game, LSU fans are horrible".

I sat a few rows behind a big, burly OU fan in '03. When they introduced his team's quarterback, he shouted, "Heisman, baby, Heisman!" Well, in the third quarter, I started yelling "Heisman" back at him. He got so upset, he tried to jump on the guy next to him and his wife made him leave.
