Well I booked a flight to KC tomorrow morning with the intention of driving to Omaha from there but there are no cars available. Unbelievable. I didn;t even factor that into the equation as a potential problem. Oh well. Looks like I won't be making it after all.

Yep, all rental car companies are sold out. They told me to try some local dealerships. Looks like its not gonna happen.

That sucks. Try faking being in labor and see if you can get a cop to take you.

Greyhound bus?

Taxi to the next city than rent a car?

I mean, there's got to be tons of options.

+1

I travel quite a bit on business and this is always to last resort but usually always works.

So apparently this guy doesn't know how to look up a rental car.

Wait, what?? Why would you ask the airline about rental car availability?

Because when you call an airline now to reserve a flight or make changes to the reservation they ask you if you'd like rental car/hotel/trip information.

Just buy a hoopty for $500/$600 dollars. Sell it back to the used car dealer for $200 when you are done with it. It will be about the same amount of money in the long run.

Go to the source man. You have all sorts of information available at the fingertip these days. I did look up for other car rentals and they were sold out. But, Enterprise sure is available. Good luck and it would be nice to put another tiger fan in Omaha
