Does anyone know of any other place with better hashbrowns???

I went and got the triple with a side of bacon and I was considering getting more hashbrowns. I just put ketchup over the top and went to town. Great stuff.

That was a little over the top.

And I am going to bed on that note.

I could smell them cooking leaving the Port last night at midnight. Would have ducked in and gotten tossed and smothered, but the damn place was packed.

I live in BR.....I'm pretty cajun and I don't think putting ketchup on hashbrowns(almost same thing as putting ketchup on a french fry)is a yankee thing.

Get em capped next time(shrooms) I like em smothered covered and capped. With all that, ketchup would ruin it IMHO. But plain, ketchup is fine. And my last name is Benoit to whomever said it was a yankee thing.

I like hashbrowns, crispy and golden, on the outsides and I use ketchup on them. Never lived outside of LA. Have no idea where that Yankee comment came from. It's stupid and so is cory. Sheesh.

i wouldn't call ketchup on hash browns a yankee thing but, i must admit, i don't like it at all. of course, i don't really care that much for ketchup. i don't even use it on french fries all that much.

as for waffle house, i do love the hash browns--scattered, smothered, and covered. i haven't eaten them in years , though.

Ketchup is pretty much a universal condiment. When I lived in PA, the big deal was ketchup on eggs. My wife, who is from St. Louis puts ketchup on everything. I myself only like it when infused with tabasco sauce . I put mustard on my dogs, mayo on my burgers, the aforementioned spicy ketchup on fries, and nothing on my hash browns.

Anywhere else that serves hashbrowns. The hashblock from McDonalds is better.
