I think there should be bleachers. What do you think?

What about a mixture of both.

Bleachers. You can sit on them a day after rain. Berm...not so much.

so how many days in a row has this been talked about?

Berm...it just adds another element to the environment. Also I think they can sell more standing room only tickets.

+1 I also think bleachers would look better. However a berm is better than nothing.

how about a deck with picnic tables that way you don't have to deal with mud and you can still bring in coolers

You only need overflow seating for 6-8 or so games per season, and an empty berm looks better than empty bleachers. So I vote berm.

Not that I have an opinion one way or the other on the whole beleacher/berm question. But would a berm necessarily be sloppy after a rain. I thought some of the aspects of berms are that they are high and sloped and thus tend to shed water. Kinda like the Mississippi River levee. I don't remember seeing that get messy and I pass by it every day. Also, it seems like they could use the right sand/dirt mixture to drain the water.

they will never allow coolers in.

Berm with staggered seating that will look like bleachers.

I think this statement is worth seeing again:
One more time:

I don't see what the problem is here.
