The kid had great swings on some damn good pitches last night . You have to give him credit, he was seeing it last night . Situations dictate how to pitch him .

I disagree. I think they should do what Mainieri is telling them. Throw a big fat arse meatball in his wheelhouse every pitch.

Of course we should be smart when pitching to him; however, two of the runs he scored came because of 3 of our 4 errors.

No doubt, I was just saying that two of his runs were unearned, that's all.

He was very impressive last night. Not with just his hitting but very smart baserunning

The guy will get his hits. I think the key is to have him bat with nobody on base. Get the guys in front of him out and he can't hurt you unless its a HR of course.

The one gripe I have with Graham's managing is Rendon should be hitting in the 3-hole. Currently, you have two guys (Hague and Seastrunk) hitting ahead of him that both strike out quite a bit (Hague more than Seastrunk). Not exactly table-setters. And Mozingo hitting behind Rendon doesn't do much for protection. Obviously it's hard to second-guess someone with Graham's track record, but my lineup would go something more like...

1.) Holt
2.) Mozingo
3.) Rendon
4.) Hague
5.) Seastrunk...

I guess batting him 4th gives him the best chance to hit with runners on base.

Eh, he jumped too early on the ground ball back to Renaudo in the second, and if not for Nola's air ball he's dead meat in the rundown.
