Odds to Win CWS

I just got back from Vegas this weekend. The CWS lines opened up on Friday, and we were at 45-1 to win it all. Needless to say, I put $30 down hoping to win $1,350. I still can't understand why the odds are so bad, but hopefully we prove Vegas wrong.

But yes, putting the odds at 45-1 is terrible. We have an easy road to the CWS and when we get there, we have two ace pitchers......so the people who came up with the odds are stupid.
I bet Texas has the best odds (according to Vegas) and I saw them play the other day.......they are terrible. They have pitching, but they couldn't hit worth shite. Look for Texas to lose in the supers FWIW.

Im guessing the odds for ANY team to win it all right now would be longshots with Supers still to be played.
I dont think its an insult to the tigers just more a statement on how tough it is to win the CWS

where ONLINE? if anyone finds this, let me know...I'll put 100 on LSU to win it all at 45-1.... that's unreal how good that is.

You're not going to find them at 45-1 anymore, that's what they opened at and it's already gone down to 15-1 last time I checked. The lines change due to the amount of money put on a team so this means a shitload of people were putting theyre money on us.

Right. I assume this was odds from last Friday, so it included 64 teams. Odds will fall as the teams are reduced.
