In a state quarter final game Saturday, shortened to 6 innings due to the 10 run rule, Rosenberg struck out 14 of the 18 outs in the game.

His Zachary team beat Live Oak 10-0.

I sure hope we get to see him on the mound at Alex Box Stadium.

What are the chances he actually makes it onto campus?

I suppose it depends on the round he is drafted in, how much $$$ he'd have to pass up and how much does he want to have the college baseball experience.

My best guess is, he goes straight to the pros.

But that is only a guess.

I thought I heard he really wanted to play at LSU and his parents did, also. Apparently money is not really an issue with him. Of course, I don't know anything for sure so it's just my guess, too.

I really wanted to be a Fireman when I was young. Money always wins, especially when your arm is worth $$$'s.

doesnt throw hard enough IMO to command a 1st round grade or a big contract

He throws in the 90's. Not too bad for a command pitcher. His stregth is his command by far. Doesn't walk many batters ever.

I was at the LSU-Auburn game last friday and Zachs-dads-good friend, was sitting in front of me. He was wearing a zachary shirt and I asked him if he knew Zach. He said he was good friends with his dad. He told me Zachs parents want him to go to LSU, but he also said that if he goes in the first round, it will be hard to say no. Thats about all he said about Zach's future. We also talked about LSU football and basketball.

Hope he comes to LSU!

he tops out in the 90s. He is consistently in the high 80s though. On a Baseball America podcast they commented on how they have never seen this many high school pitchers consistently in the 90s and named 7-8 guys just from the southeast that could go first round, his name wasn't mentioned. I think we're going to see him on campus next year.
