OKC reporter rips the New Orleans Hornets

This woman is on crack. She basically says that the Thunder will be a better team than the Hornets by next year. Also, the Thunder has a bright future and the Hornets are horrible since they left OKC and have to play in New Orleans now.
www.newsok.com
She also states "Chris Paul isn't a 100% sure to return next season". "David West will be gone." "Times are very tough in New Orleans." "Shinn is struggling with tickets, sponorship, and revenue since leaving OKC and going to New Orleans."
I guess she didn't know the Hornets had a record number for season tickets sold this last season. She also didn't know the Hornets had the best year ever with sponorship.
2009 NBA attendance
I know the Hornets have declined from last year and some changes have to be made. But, the Dunder suck arse. This retarded woman needs to STFU and worry about her own team.
Hornets record:
2008= 56-26
2009= 49-33
Thunder's record:
2007= 31-51
2008= 20-62
2009= 23-59

Next year is too early....but in 2 years perhaps, i could see this being true. OKC might add another #1 pick to the fold along with Durant, Green, and Westbrook.

Well the Thunder have some pretty sick young talent and will get another top pick. I wouldn't say it is too crazy that OKC will begin to be a team in the playoffs as teams like SA, Dallas, Houston lose players to FA and retirement. The cheap arse owner the Hornets have doesn't help either.
But I doubt next year will be that year.

She's lost some weight since Gundy told her to STFU.

frick bitches like this. You know she is never right about anything and so now that she is kind of right about this she has to let everyone know and remind them. This lady is just sad.

Hornets need to suck for next 2 years so we can get some pieces around Paul/Chandler/West then we could compete for title...

What the frick? Is she really a sports reporter? She doesn't know what the frick she is talking about. Wow, it's very observant of you to say that OKC is a team on the rise. It's easy to have young talent when you have lottery picks for 3 years in a row! We will see how far under the cap OKC is when they have to resign those first round picks. You are only the one millionth sports writer to mention the 58 point loss to denver. In case you haven't heard, denver is another team on the rise. What the frick was the point of this story anyway? To bash the team that didn't stay in your city? That is really great reporting. BTW bitch, your moderate attractiveness is shattered as soon as you open your donkey lips. How hard is it to be a sports writer if you have a vagina? You really don't have to know what you are talking about. Look at Jackie Mcmullen, she is one of the best female sports writers and she never knows what the frick she's talking about either.

okc will be better than the hornets next season, i agree with that

yeah this whore is dumb, she is very well aware of mike gundy's age btw. its not too far fetched to believe okc could jump ahead of a team like the hornets in 2 or 3 years but i doubt next season.

Which team is better will depend on how Peja and (especially) TC play. If they play like 08, Hornets should be around a 4 seed. Like 09, playoffs will be tough.
I don't see how you can be bitter about the Hornets leaving OKC. You at least owe it to NOLA to let the Hornets fail after Katrina as opposed to just saying frick off to a city suffering from a major natural disaster.
And I'd say there's less than a 1% chance CP3 is gone next season, so I don't see how it's even worth mentioning.
Finally, I know a NOLA's attraction is all charm/music/food/partying as opposed to be a financially stable city, but come on, it's fricking Oklahoma. They're going to struggle getting FAs there unless they are a great team that can offer more than most others.

Carlson is a count, even people from Oklahoma hate her. They really don't know why she even has a job as a sports writer.
Her assumptions about the Hornets are laughable, CP3 just signed a max deal and West would only be traded so we can bring in some young talent.
I'll also go out on a limb here and say young talent doesn't always translate into wins, especially with a rookie head coach.

Here's more of her genius:
One of the "original" members? Of a 1 year old team? Really?

...this is about for Joe Smith.
You remember Joe. The 13-year NBA veteran was one of the original members of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Spent much of the season here. Endeared himself to folks with his hustle and his smarts.

Ohhhhhh....what??????
The Hornets only lost seven more games this season compared to last season. This season seemed like a complete melt down b/c of those 7 extra loses. I would say 3-4 of those games were lost due to Hornet injuries. That's a huge down fall for the Hornets next season for your prediction.
OKC basically had the exact same team this year they had last year. Yes, Durant did play better this season. Durant averaged 21 points a game this year and the Thunder only improved their record by 3 more wins. Improvement, but not much at all.
The Hornets won 26 more games than the Thunder this year. For the Thunder to be better than the Hornets that is going to be a huge improvement by the Thunder. Something the Thunder failed big time to do this year. The Thunder won 23 games this year and 16 of those wins were against teams with under a .500 record. The NBA West will still be loaded next year.
