You may not get any good feedback. The people of this forum don't set foot in chains-----or at least they'll never admit it. They're way above that & must maintain their image.
We ate at one when LSU played at South Carolina in '03. It wasn't bad. I'd go again.

As a non-douche who doesn't pretend that chains are beneath me, I still wouldn't recommend Longhorn for a steak. Just a little too salty for me, and I got bad service the two times I went. I have been to one in Jacksonville, FL though, and it was better. You might like it; they seem to be busy most of the time, and it might've been a fluke the one time I got a steak there.

Wasn;t to impressed, the sides and appitizers were good...

Steaks too charred for my taste.

I have been there one time when it first opened and I thought it was pretty good. Since then though, I haven't heard very many good comment about the place.

i've eaten there twice .. i'd put it above outback, texas roadhouse, lone star, etc. .. it ain't ruth's chris, sully's, or flemings .. but it is a notch below ... not bad for the money, though ..

so disliking chain restaurants automatically makes one a douche now? you guys actually enjoy restaurants like chili's/applebee's/olive garden? in the past 3 years i've eaten at chains twice and was highly disappointed both times. once at a chili's in metry because i got a gift card for christmas and then at an outback here in seattle.

i do enjoy some of the higher end chains, but when you live in a city like new orleans or seattle there is really no reason to eat at one.

I went a couple of months ago and I got the french onion soup as an appetizer and the grilled shrimp as my meal. I thought it was good. The hubs ordered ribs, and he enjoyed them as well.

+100. Most definetly better than Outback. I went there for a business lunch and enjoyed my medium rare ribeye. It was seasoned well and tasty. The service was very good, attentive but not overly so. Not to impressed with the fried/battered onion pieces (can't remember the Longhorn terminology). They tasted pre-prepared.

Overall it was a good experience and I would return.

Steaks are mediocre. Appetizers are great, especially the shrimp/lobster dip and their boneless buffalo wings. Ribs are incredible. They fall off the bone and the BBQ sauce it tasty. I would give it a B+
