Spring Game ?

Going to the Spring Game for the first time. What's it like before the game? Is there any tailgating going on or do people just show up around kickoff time?

there are a few people tailgating, but i would not recommend it
also, it seems that the spring game is always the first "really f-ing hot day" of the year, so don't forget a hat/sunscreen

i am goin for the first time myself. any way i heard the guys on tigerrag radio sayin that it was called tiger day or something and that saturday all of the sports in season would be at lsu on saturday. (baseball, softball, golf, track, tennis, ect..) I think there will be plenty to entertain us, along with some tailgating. PS. I hope i run into some of the regulars that i chat with here. be nice to put faces to avatars.

there should be some tailgating.
My group is boiling 14 sacks and have many kegs of beer. Many others are tailgating as well

There's usually a bunch of people tailgating, but it's just down near the stadium. I promise that will be better than the game. The game is always so boring.

Agreed, im going too. But the game usually sucks. Only good thing to see is developing players. Defense usually dominates, because the receivers can only run 5-10 different routes. So the defense knows whats coming.

I'm going out and tailgate with some friends. I doubt I even make it into the game. Last time I went in I was borrrrred after about 10 minutes.

I am taking my son. He has been wanting to go, but he is still young and a night game gets a little too rowdy for the tike. May not be as exiting, but at least it will give him the experience of a game in TS.
