Can somebody please talk me off the Lost ledge? too many questions, not enough time to research/review/think about the answers. What was the deal with Mr. Eko? Why was the DI food dropped on our friends? Polar bears/comic books/Walt, the bird that hit the window? wtf wtf wtf?

I've been looking forward to this episode. Should be a good one. It's almost time for another Desmond episode as well. He's been off the show for too many weeks.

Wow.... in regards to everything that is unanswered, those are the questions you want answered

Eko's story line was cute short because the actor wanted out of Hawaii. From my understanding, his story was supposed to be much more complex, but he wanted out.

I believe the food was dropped in the 1970s but was dropped on the wrong coordinates so it ended up in the future. Remember the doctor on the freighter.

This is still a myster.

Based off of the previews after last week's episode, I think we will see Desmond this week. I've got a bad feeling.

Finally we get to see Ben and Locke again.
How will the smoke monster "correct" Ben for breaking the rules?

Just saw the two sneak peaks on youtube. They certainly don't give anything away, but I am predicting we see "Ben's" daughter tonight.
And I think it might be a sign that the purge goes differently than before.

So since Ben said "I broke the rules, I came back to the island"..... Can we assume that widmore turned the wheel at sometime and was sent off the island and when Ben said that widmore "broke the rules" it was because he sent people associated with him back to the island

Can we assume
quote:But didn't he say that right after the freighter people shot Alex? I thought that it had something to do with that action. He didn't say that Widmore broke the rules until that happened. And the shooting of Alex looked like it really surprised and upset him. That's why I took it (and take it) to mean that the shooting was what broke the rules, not the sending people to the island .... but who knows?
when Ben said that widmore "broke the rules" it was because he sent people associated with him back to the island
Now that I'm thinking about it though, right after Ben said that he disappeard and it seems as though he called the smoke monster out. When smokey got there it immediately took out the freighter people (well most of them anyway). That was also the most violent smokey scene to date if I'm not mistaken. So .... since Ben now says he broke the rules and has to be judged by smokey I guess it looks as though that judgement is what heppend to the freighter people after they "broke the rules".

Yup....
Im assuming that Ben will explain "the rules" in this episode. May bring a lot of stuff into context.

I bet the main driver at the end of this show will be that Ben and Widemore made a dollar bet on who could own the island the longest.
