SEC poy's have been few and far between until very recently. For that reason he'd have to make it IMO.

The Final 4 team wasn't his last season here. So he cried a little on the bench? So what. He was upset that he couldn't get it done and win a national title.
He played hurt the entire 2007 season, and that team struggled. Mostly because he tried to do too much, even though he was injured. His effort should be applauded.

FWIW I felt like crying after that Final Four game, too

Glen "fat arse cry baby" Davis off
Glen Davis was a great basketball player at LSU. He played with a lot of passion. So what if he cried a little here and there. He gave it his all at LSU.
Would you call Herman Johnson a fatass or Ciron Black? No. They and Glen Davis are probably twice the athlete of you.

Ricky Blanton said on the Ott show that first off, all SEC POY's got on regardless. So MT would be on without question.

Big Baby was a crybaby for what its worth. I really think he does have some emotional/mental issues that he needs to deal with
You have no clue of the personal issues that Glen Davis dealt with throughout his LSU career, which were magnified his senior season. He was also injured in a vehicle accident which hampered him throughout the SEC season. He still finished third in scoring and led the SEC in rebounding. There is no question he belongs on the All Century team.

would take Thornton over Bass
None of the choices should be replaced by Thornton. LSU made an errorin limiting the team to 16 players and allowing emotions to influence the selections. There should have been 25 players on the team as it is reasonable that a great player is signed on an average ofevery 4 years.

John Williams (didn't make the team)> Thornton
